Equity Analyst/Associate Analyst

Growing boutique broker-dealer seeks to build up our proprietary equity research product with the addition of an experienced equity analyst to support the firm's senior analyst. We employ a bottom-up fundamental approach to identify highly eclectic "long" and "short" equity ideas across a multitude of industries. We gear towards new idea generation (with short succinct reports) and not maintenance research. Our primary target audience is hedge funds.

 

NOTES:2 openings. Benefits after 90 days with partial employee contribution. Bonus potential. Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of sellside or buyside equity analyst experience ? Demonstrated ability to independently produce high quality, concise equity research reports and build financial models ? Strong PC & organization skills ? Ability to multi-task ? High level attention to detail and ability to work well in a demanding environment ? Passion for and dedication to the investment business ? Willingness to work hard and take initiative ? Flexibility in stock coverage (i.e. across many industries; we do not expect specific industry expertise)
