Executive VP of Finance

Robert Half is seeking to identify an individual for the position of Executive VP of Finance for a local gaming/hotel/restaurant. This role requires advanced planning, negotiation, communication, and management skills. Ten years experience in Accounting and/or Finance. Previous experience in public accounting is highly desirable. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. An MBA, CMA is also highly desired. Duties include: compliance with state and federal regulations, establishing and maintaining sound relationships with financial institutions including commercial and investment banks, coordinating and managing the annual budget process, making recommendations to optimize investments of financial capital, communicating company's actual performance versus budgets, collaborating with leaders in other departments, and hiring, training, and retaining competent staff.
