REQUIREMENTS: Previous brokerage operations experience is required. A minimum of 2 years brokerage operations experience is highly preferred, however, candidates with equivalent knowledge and skill level may be considered. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills along with the ability and capacity to collaborate with other street side associates and interact with the sales force and their business partners. Exposure to reconciliation and back office systems such as BETA, APL, etc. is a plus. Candidates will have the ability to work as a team member or independently. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: attention to detail coupled with the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment, ability to read, comprehend and analyze trade tickets, knowledge of procedures and systems related to the workflow of trading and managed business support. Strong communication skills. A series 7 licensee is preferred but not required, if candidate demonstrates an eagerness to learn. Overtime may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Functional title of this position will be Regulatory Trade Support Specialist. Duties to include support the monitoring, repair, and analysis of OATS reporting and Program Trading reports on behalf of the Equity trading group to the Regulatory bodies. Associate will also assist our Correspondent Clearing firms with trade reporting concerns. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2 years brokerage operations experience is highly preferred, however, candidates with equivalent knowledge and skill level may be considered. Equity product knowledge or trade support experience preferred. Knowledge of Beta system a plus. Must have excellent organizational and communications skills, with the ability to quickly grasp the Rules and Regulations required by the regulatory agencies. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements: To be qualified for this position an idea candidate will have: Detailed knowledge of all product types, including but not limited to market and product structures. Minimum of 2 years brokerage and analytical experience. Comfortable navigating unfamiliar applications independently. Demonstrated business level etiquette in written and verbal communications. Demonstrated ability to gather, compile, manipulate and present data from multiple sources including attention to detail and ability to recognize the absence of key information. Ability to understand operational process flows and failure points. Familiarity with front end systems. Proven knowledge of client reporting tools and the regulations that guide them. Manage time with priorities and deadlines set by others including regulatory bodies. A preferred candidate will have a 4 year degree in finance or related field, previous experience in Syndicate processing, Series 7 registration, Enhanced PC skills to include SQL databases, basic query tools, and expert-level knowledge of MS Access and Powerpoint. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work under strict time constraints, and have an attention to detail. A minimum of 2 years of brokerage operations experience is highly preferred, however, candidates with equivalent knowledge and skill level may be considered. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge of both CNS and ex-clearing comparison processes and Beta online functions are preferred. Familiarity with OTC Web Workstation / ACT is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
