FINANCE SPECIALIST

Job Description: Dynamic manufacturing company established in 1969 is seeking a Finance Specialist to join their growing accounting department. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: . Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. MBA is a plus. . 8 to 10 years of accounting and financial experience in a profit driven organization. Sales Analysis experience is essential. . Excellent computer skills including AS400 and Microsoft Office packages. . Ability to effectively and consistently communicate with all levels of the organization and with team members as well. . Willingness to adapt to changing business requirements and learn new systems/methods as required. . Strong business decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills are essential as well as the ability to work effectively in a deadline intensive environment. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: . Provides direct financial, analytical and strategic support to the Marketing organization. . Act as financial advisor to Marketing by providing accounting and financial expertise. . Responsible for Profit & Loss reporting and analysis from Off-Invoice Sales through Brand Contribution. Assist in development of the annual budget including volume & value budgets along with expenses, monthly rolling forecasts, and long range plans. . Works closely with the Cost Accounting Specialist on gross profit analysis and IRR's. *Must have a strong manufacturing background* Local candidates preferred as there is no relocation package included.
