JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates the development of planning and financial forecasting information for Coventry Health Care. Monitors on-going costs and utilization statistics and analyze trends and variances. Prepares reports for department managers.



SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

-  Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent experience.  Master?s degree or CPA preferred.

-  Substantial (usually 2-3 years) directly related financial analyst experience.

-  Significant knowledge of generally accepted financial analyst or accounting principles, applications and accounting systems.

-  Thorough understanding of managed care industry requirements.

-  Proficient with spreadsheet software and accounting mainframe systems.

-  Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills required.
