FINANCIAL ANALYST, FINANCIAL REPORTING
Hoffman Estates, IL

Responsibilities:
Monthly analysis of key accounts.
Monthly preparation and analysis of cash-flow statement.
Assisting in preparation of Department of Education and other regulatory reporting.
Analysis of competitor financial reporting.
Assisting in periodic SEC reporting.
Assisting in monthly and quarterly financial statement close process.
Assisting in monthly reporting to board of directors.
Assisting in external audit process, quarterly review's, and annual corporate and school audits.
Accounting research and special projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA or active pursuit of CPA credentials required.
Minimum three years of total experience out of college, including a minimum of two years in public accounting or two years directly involved in external financial reporting.
Experience with publicly traded companies preferred.
A strong foundation in technical accounting standards and accounting research and writing is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
A strong understanding of financial statements and the analysis of financial statements.
Spreadsheet management.
SEC reporting experience preferred.
