FINANCIAL WIZARD

Public Communications Services, located in West Los Angeles, is a leader in finding innovative solutions to meet telecommunications' customers needs. We don't sell products - we provide solutions, tailored to the needs of the customer through systems integration. We deal primarily with government entities to implement solutions for inmate telecommunications systems consisting of owning, operating, servicing, and maintaining a system of automated operator switches and telephones.

 

We seek a  financial expert who is a wizz at performing analysis.  The Financial Analyst will: 

 

*Perform financial modeling and pricing of sales strategies with executives.

 

*Account variance analysis and reconciliation

 

*Assist in preparation of annual budget and semi-annual forecast

 

*Monthly performance reporting and presentation preparation

 

*Assist in process improvement and policy development

 

A degree in business, finance, or accounting is needed, plus at least two to four years of financial analysis and cash management work.  Must have excellent computer skills, including MS Excel.  Knowledge of Solomon accounting software and MySQL preferred.  Beginning to intermediate abilities in use of Cognos Enterprise Business Intelligence Software is a plus.
