FP&A - Senior Cost Analyst
Summary: Senior cost analyst provides comprehensive financial analysis and consulting to the business group and managers. In this role, you will provide key contact and support for individual managers, project leads, and engineers within Operations. You will provide financial services and consulting on processes, programs and projects, to business managers and their technical staff, execute Month End Close processes, and responsible for the reporting of manufacturing variances and RD&E, forecast and analysis. Specific job role will be to: review and report manufacturing variances and RD&E activities, analyze causals, prepare forecasts, develop and report key metrics, lead product cost planning and analysis, develop product costing models, and support the answer of General Accounting issues. Understanding of international accounting and ability to work with offshore organizations and suppliers is required.
Responsibilities:
Month-end close activities (JE?s, account reconciliations, close reports, ?)Monthly reporting & analysis of XOG manufacturing variances including Narratives, Contingency, P&L Assessments & Forecasts, & etc? Streamline & improve business reporting Drive a process-improvement, metrics-based approach to the FP&A processesPrepare & Analyze Lean Six Sigma project financials and track savingsPrepare Ad Hoc analysis, reporting & recommend P&L improvement opportunities to enhance overall profitability.Develop and Manage product cost modelsFinancial oversight and review of capital expenditures, depreciation, and asset
Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
? In-depth knowledge of Xerox Accounting policies preferred.
? In Depth knowledge of Xerox Financial Systems (Oracle, OMAF, Essbase, Pillar, Planview, - etc?) & Ledgers preferred.
? Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
? Strong Collaborative Skills
? Ability to interface, present and communicate with all levels of management.
? Minimum of 3 years of experience in a broad range of finance / accounting roles.
? Strong desire to be an integral part of the business.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of the XOG business and a proven track record of contributions in a business support role, or an equivalent level of experience and accomplishment. A Bachelors of Accounting or Finance degree required, with MBA or CPA/CMA credentials. Strong financial knowledge with international business exposure. Excellent PC and Excel knowledge with some database knowledge. Strong project/process management skills and self initiative. Strong Customer focus. Grade is dependent upon years of experience.
