Field Sales Analyst:

This position will support the sales teams on the East Coast and Canada but will be located at the Corporate office in Agoura Hills. The individual will be responsible for developing account level sales historical trending and profiles to drive bottoms up forecasting. Will also work with the Sales Directors and Regional Managers to develop weekly and quarterly sales forecasts. Will be responsible for analyzing POS data, sales forecasts, field inventory levels and impact of competitive release schedules. Sales team will look to this person for recommendations on inventory replenishment. The individual is expected to interact with the planning/buying teams from the key accounts. Will also support the regional sales team with Hyperion and collaborate with the Corporate sales team on forecasting initiatives. This individual will manage trade spending and monitor effectiveness as well as perform promotional ROI analyses. This role will also assist with ad hoc analyses, reporting and presentations.

Qualifications/Education: BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting. At least three years of financial modeling/forecasting/reporting/analytical experience with a consumer products company selling to major retailers. Experience working directly with Sales Managers is a plus. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required. Attention to detail and strong levels of accuracy are essential. This candidate must be a self starter with proven leadership skills including the ability to be an agent for positive change. There is an expectation that input will be provided into process improvement. SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, and retail systems experience helpful. Specifically, Retail Link experience preferred but not essential.
