Finance Assistant

Belcorp has over 35 years of experience in the beauty industry with over $700M of annual revenue. Our product line, L?Bel Paris, consists of high-quality skin care, cosmetics and fragrances made in France. Belcorp is growing rapidly in the U.S. and is looking for a Finance Assistant to work out of our San Francisco Headquarters.

 

Objective:

? Timely and accurate entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in the company?s financial and commercial systems

? Analysis of budgetary data and budgetary requests

Responsibilities:

? Entry of invoices and expense reimbursements into SAP system, ensuring proper assignment to cost centers and accounts, as well as timely payment

? Control and posting of Petty Cash expenses in SAP

? Post all the company?s transactions correctly in the SAP system

? Assist in the analysis and preparation of financial reports on a monthly basis (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow Statements )

? Daily download of collections from Globalpay (Credit Cards) and Lockbox (Checks), and entry to Commercial System and SAP

? Make necessary journal entries and reclassification between accounts to reflect all company?s transaction in SAP and Commercial System

? Organize and maintain financial archives

? Assist other areas with Purchase transactions in SAP

Qualifications:

? BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

? 2-3 years of accounting experience

? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

? Experience in budgeting, forecasting and planning
