Finance Associate / Stock Reporting Analyst

Leader in the GLobal Investment Banking community is currently seeking an Equity Reporting Analyst to join their Stock Plan Group.

This is an excellent career opportunity for an individaul with 2-3 years experience working within a Finance / Accounting or Controllers group or other role that requires manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data.  This position will be responsible to provide data analyses and reporting to support global employee stock plan administration on a a multinational level. 

Responsibilities will include:

* Managing the flow of equity data between the firm and the transfer agent/record keeper
* Managing requests for stock plan data to support regulatory filings and internal reporting needs
* Participating in the development and enhancement of record keeping and trading systems
* Liaising with the firm's Controllers, Tax, Legal and Compliance departments regarding a variety of equity related issues
* Supporting special projects, including corporate actions and mergers/acquisitions-related equity analytics

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics along with 2-3 years  high-performing experience in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field, with responsibilities including complex data reconciliation and analysis.  Must possess excellent analytical skills as this role will require  working with  numbers and complex problem solving.
Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel; knowledge of Business Objects a plus.
