Finance - Cycle Inventory Analyst

Responsibilities:

Is responsible for "scrub" procedures related to inventory reconciliation, participating in Club inventories (one weekend per month), training of club management on inventory procedures, shrink related account reconciliations, and writing a portion of the monthly shrink analysis report to senior management. Additional responsibilities include attending Distribution Center Inventories, assisting with reconciliation of Pharmacy Inventories, running several weekly, monthly and on-request SAS programs and the manual compilation of storage facility inventories.  Will perform other responsibilities/duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

A minimum of two (2) years experience in Finance or Accounting is required.  Excellent analytical, PC (Excel, Word, and Outlook), verbal and written communication skills are essential.  Knowledge of current BJ?s inventory procedures and AP processes is desired.  Exposure to other inventory experience is acceptable.  Familiarity with SAS is helpful.  A Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field and/or one (1) year of equivalent experience are strongly preferred.  A minimum of 10% travel to clubs and consolidators is required.
