MAIN DUTIES:

?Responsible for ensuring the company-wide budgeting and planning processes are completed timely and accurately.?Provides monthly profit and cash flow forecasts that are critical to managing the business.? Provides critical ad-hoc analysis as required by Senior CHEP Management, CHEP International, Global IS, and other CHEP departments.? Analyzes all new product launches, new methods of operation, and new service offerings for financial return.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

?Provides guidance, instruction, organization, problem resolution and management of the company-wide budget process, strategic plan and other key financial modeling.Serves as key primary sign off for financial problem solving, ad hoc analysis and new project feasibility studies for all levels and areas.Prepares and assures reasonableness and achievability for key financial presentations for senior management including budget/strategic plan presentations, financial updates for partner meetings, etc.Provides financial and commercial support to the various sales and service sectors throughout the company.? Questions unreasonable assumptions.? Filters all requests before presentation.Plays an integral role in the successful migration to SAP and BW.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

?Strong problem solving skillsAbility to drive for business solutionsIn depth understanding of Financial levers including IRR, RONA and ROIExtensive knowledge of computer technology and programsExcellent organization, analysis and multi-tasking skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsCapital Investment Analysis Exposure to concepts of Lean SigmaFinancial Planning Systems Experience ( i.e. Hyperion, Cognos)Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (Desired)

EXPERIENCE:

?University degree in Accounting or related field.? MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.5-7 years experience in Accounting with at least 3 years experience in Planning and Analysis.? Planning experience in a global company where acquisitions, field start-ups and new product development are required.
