Finance Manager Senior

Oversees the monthly financial close of division books, ensuring financial reports that meet generally accepted accounting principles. Manages and directs the activities of the financial staff. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Interfaces with division/corporate finance organizations as required.  Represents Business Unit on corporate initiatives, helps define corporate policy and processes.  Interfaces with Applied Materials Europe, Asia-Pacific region and Applied Materials Japan as well as with external auditors, customers and vendors as required. Instrumental in setting mission, vision, and direction consistent with Corporate and Finance Hoshins.

 

Acts as financial advisor to division management. Provides financial direction to division staff.  Participates in ongoing divisional management reviews. Analyzes, interprets, and prepares monthly divisional financial forecasts. Develops reports as required.


Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent analytical ability. Strong negotiating and cross-organizational resolution abilities. Ability to travel internationally.

 

Minimum:BS in Finance or other related field or equivalent;
10-12+  years related experience, including 5 years of supervisory/management experience.

Preferred:MBA level degree;CPA/CMA.
