Finance Manager, Subscriber and Revenue

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager, Subscriber and Revenue to join our team.

 

Summary:

This position is responsible for the preparation of the annual subscriber and revenue budgets, periodic forecasts, long range plans, as well as develop and interpret comparative analyses to assist Division management in identifying opportunities for cash flow improvement.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

? Prepare subscriber and revenue budgets and re-estimates for the Division.  This includes working with Marketing and Sales departments to determine subscriber activities, creating models, developing assumptions, reviewing budgets and re-estimates for consistency. 

? Review monthly rate per subs and identify risk or opportunities.  This includes reviewing discount, promotion and any other rate impacting issues.

? Generate periodic operating and financial statistics with appropriate explanations of variances between periods and against budgets and forecast.  This includes rate/volume variance analysis to budget and re-estimate.

? Other financial analysis as needed.  This includes creating specific project models and gathering needed assumptions and information.

? Generate any subscriber and revenue related reports.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

A Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting and two (2) or more years experience performing similar duties is required.  MBA and/or CPA preferred.

 

Skills Include: Excellent analytical and communication skills; as well as the ability and flexibility to work well in changing and high-pressure situations.  Able to operate with minimal direction and handle several projects simultaneously.  Advanced PC skills required including experience in Microsoft Office products.  Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase, CSG, Peoplesoft and/or Oracle preferred.  Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as necessary.
