Finance Project Leader

This position is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and budget activities. This person will coordinate with Finance and business unit leaders in a leadership role for monthly close activities, annual planning, and forecasting. In addition, this person will prepare business cases related to technology capital projects and division initiatives and develop cost/benefit analysis. This person will also be responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing financial benefits related to initatives.  Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. The Competency Model associated with this position is lead professional.

 

Job Qualifications:

Should possess a Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

Previous experience in Finance and the monthly close process preferred.

 

Must have the ability to lead and work well in a team environment. Candidate should possess strong technical finance or accounting knowledge and be proficient in Windows-based applications, including Excel, Power Point, and Word. Candidate should also be proficient iin use of finance systems such as Essbase, SAP and Pillar. Must possess strong financial modeling and process management skills. Must exhibit comfort around higher management. Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills. Highly analytical and strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate with all levels of management including executives. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities with success. Strong financial modeling and business case development skills. Proficient in process improvement.
