Financial Analysis, Aftermarket Business Analysis

Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Financial Analysis, Aftermarket Business Analysis in our Indianapolis, IN facility.

The successful candidate will:

Manages posting and reporting of Aftermarket services TotalCare financials applying contract accounting principles in compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS. Develops variance analysis of Aftermarket services TotalCare financials versus Budget / Quarterly forecasts to support management of the AE project and customer business teams. Researches and resolves all transactions incorrectly hitting TotalCare revenue / cost projects. Performs reconciliation of warranty and TotalCare accounts. Assists with development of AE Aftermarket pricing strategy. Produces spare parts pricing, both on a one off basis and the annual change in parts? pricing. Supports AE business and Plc with ad hoc reporting and analysis related to TotalCare performance or forecasting.

Position requirements include:

Basic:  Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance; minimum of 3 years of experience in various aspects of financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting and reporting; general understanding of commercial and business principles, finance and guarantees; solid understanding of aftermarket services; demonstrated proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Preferred:  Self-starter with a strong ability to work on own initiative; excellent analytical and problem solving skills; ability to think in logical and innovative ways and express thoughts in a clear and persuasive manner; strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reporting; ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization; previous experience with Hyperion; previous experience working with aftermarket services.
