Financial Analyst

A world-class Finance organization is looking to enhance its Professional Finance and Accounting organization. Freescale Semiconductor (FSL) is the 3rd largest semiconductor firm based in the United States. A new addition to the NYSE and the Fortune 500, it spun off from Motorola in December of 2004. This position requires 3+ years of professional finance or accounting experience. The individual considered will have solid knowledge of management accounting and understand the basic concepts of financial planning and analysis as well as good internal controls. The role will also require advanced knowledge of Excel and solid knowledge of PowerPoint. SAP experience is a plus. In addition to technical competence, the individual chosen will be high energy, a strong communicator and will have the confidence to present their ideas to peers and their direct supervisor.

The person in this role will be responsible for but not limited to:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Business Partnering
Cost Reduction Analysis
Process Improvement (automation, standardization)
Financial Controls via Self Assessment audits/SOX compliance
