Job Description: Facilitate Controllership and Quality efforts for Disney's Worldwide Shared Service Center including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal control reviews, process improvement consulting, and quality training. Assist the Sr. Finance Manager with defining internal controls, coordinating audit efforts with internal and external audit contacts, and providing quality consulting on defect reduction projects and operational metric enhancements. Assist the Sr. Finance Manager with training resources in the application of continuous process improvement, quality tools and techniques, and team facilitation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)

Bachelor's degree in an accounting or related field or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance capacity (minimum 1-2 years specific to internal/external audit or other related internal controls focused roles)

Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment

Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including translating observations to values (cost, quality, throughput, cycle time) and opportunities

Proven record of quality projects successfully completed, resulting in realized cost savings and/or improved service

Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing

Ability to be an excellent facilitator capable of influencing people over which he/she has no authority

Ability to have a high level of energy, self-direction and motivation
