JOB SUMMARY
Initiates and implements financial analysis and business planning for key operational business segments. This includes cost analysis, planning, forecasting and development of financial models to support key business initiatives.
Coordinates and reviews quarterly financial analysis process and Enterprise Risk Management System (ERMS) as well as business owner for the planning system and operational department hierarchy.
Works independently, at the direction of the team lead and director within the group and interacts with a broad cross-section of internal leaders and groups.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
3-4 years of relevant business experience performing financial analysis.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Good general business knowledge and exposure to a variety of business situations.
Proficiency with spreadsheet modeling and Microsoft software: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of financial and general accounting principles.
Effective oral and written communication skills required and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
Independent and proactive work style.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company, work effectively in a diverse work group and as a member of a team. Preferred Qualifications
Have or working toward MBA, CPA or CFA.
Prior accounting, finance and/or Financial Services industry experience.H&R Block Financial Advisors Inc.,
