Financial Analyst - Budgets

ServiceMaster provides service to 10.5 million residential and commercial customers in the United States each year. Our core services include lawn care and landscape maintenance, termite and pest control, plumbing, heating and air conditioning maintenance and repair, appliance maintenance and repair, cleaning and furniture maintenance and home warranties. Some of the ServiceMaster brands are: TruGreen ChemLawn, Terminix, American Home Shield, and Merry Maids.

 

ServiceMaster is currently seeking a Financial Analyst, Budgets to work at either Corporate location (Downers Grove, IL or Memphis, TN). You will be responsible for providing development and operational support to ServiceMaster business units utilizing the Cognos budgeting tool.

 

Responsibilities:Assist in the development of budget, estimate and forecast models, using the Cognos Analyst tool.Assist in the development and deployment of Analyst models into Cognos Contributor.Provide operational support for budget, estimate and forecast models that have been deployed in Cognos Contributor.Assist Brands with change management activities related to process change, application roll-outs and user training.Help develop enterprise standards, processes and controlsWork closely with Information Technology groups to help insure the proper deployment and support of the Cognos budget toolsAssist in integrating the Cognos budget tools with Cognos? reporting and analysis tools.Work with JD Edwards and other related enterprise applications on an as needed basis



 

Qualifications:1-2 years of experience, ideally with exposure to the Cognos budgeting tools. BS/BA in Accouting, Finance or related areaFamiliarity with project management skills and techniquesExperience in a large, multi-unit organization
