Financial Analyst I

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to be responsible for the preparation of regulatory reports that satisfy Federal and State requirements, as well as, supplemental reporting for other agencies, as required for Keystone Health Plan East (KHPE) and Vista Health Plan (VHP).  This includes preparation of financial and statistical reports for the Department of Health, Department of Insurance, and various governmental programs, in accordance with established requirements. 

 

Additional responsibilities include:

? Assist in the monthly investment accounting process for KHPE and VHP

? Prepare monthly investment journal entry

? Reconcile and analyze investment general ledger accounts

? Prepare investment reports for management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

 

To qualify, one must possess:

? A Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance

? A minimum of two years of general finance or accounting experience; Health care or insurance industry experience a plus

? Excellent communication and organizational skills

? Strong financial analysis and reporting skills

? Computer skills, including word processing spreadsheets and database programs
