Financial Analyst I (N9-10)

Basic Function: This role is crucial to providing SG&A reporting, analysis and support to CNH management to allow for proper decision-making and controlling SG&A.  This person will use the GPS reporting tool to prepare analyses supporting executive presentations.  There will also be ad-hoc requests for data to support the CFO and Senior Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

-SG&A reporting and analysis for monthly closes, Annual Plans, Forecasts, Flashes, MMR presentations, Board presentations, Fiat GEC's and Shareholders.
-Provide finance support to support organizations, including HR, Legal, Global Communication.
-Back up GPS Administrator.
-Analyzes, consolidates, evaluates and interprets financial information to identify problems and alternate courses of action.
-Investigates Accounting systems, explores alternate methods of information gathering, reporting procedures and Accounting controls to ensure uniform systems applications.
-Serves as leader of a task force for any major financial project that provides financial input and utilizes individual expertise to satisfactorily complete project assignments.
-Analyzes, evaluates, and develops new methods that strengthen internal controls and proposes changes for improved reports to management that are complete, accurate, timely and increase visibility of the operations.
-As needed, serves as representative to provide analysis and financial evaluation to pricing, planning and programs developed for profitable product development.

Requirements:

? Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with 4-6 years of financial analysis experience, or a related Master?s Degree with 2-4 years of work experience.
? Must be able to analyze, consolidate and interpret financial data.
? A substantial amount of independent thinking is required.
? Able to work under limited supervision.
