JOB SUMMARY:
Relying on experience and judgment and working under general supervision, conducts complicated financial analysis projects and special statistical studies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
' Applies principles of finance to analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. Works on a variety of analyses including capital versus expense, ROI, resource allocations, budget preparation, etc.
' May lead and direct the work of others

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
' Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting


JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE:
' 4 ' 7 years experience in field or related area

DEMONSTRATED JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
' Familiar with a variety of financial practices, and procedures within a particular field
' Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
' Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines
' Proficiency with PC and finance applications including Excel and Word

QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE PLUS

- Familiarity with Oracle and Discoverer
- Ability to use Microsoft Access
- Prior experience in the health services sector.

' Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time
' Office environment
