Financial Analyst, Planning

Support the Studio Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budget and forecasting process.? Additional responsibilities with monthly closing, analysis of studio cost centers and internal reporting of? actual results.

Position Duties:?

Daily duties will include, but are not limited to: Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Annual Budget Help support the process/completion of Company-wide AOP Prepare all necessary AOP schedules/templates in Hyperion Develop AOP allocation procedures and supporting schedules Assist Manger in review of the assigned studio cost center with studio and finance personnel Assist in consolidating Final AOP for presentation to Senior Staff and P&L Managers

Forecasting/Financial PlanningAssist in managing the reforecast process to report accurate representation of Company's current financial situation and report to Senior Staff and
P&L Managers (requires an understanding of the business and the P&L) Preparation of various forms in Hyperion related to studio OPEX, headcount updates, titles updates and changes in capitalization dates Run consolidated reports using Hyperion Reporting and Essbase for review and??????? explanations of variances Work with management to keep abreast of any changes which affect Forecasting/Financial Planning (acquisitions, tax rates, product slippage)

Monthly Reporting & AnalysisMTD/YTD Actual vs Forecast cost center analysis MTD/YTD Actual vs AOP cost center analysis Production cost reports and Title P&L reports Prepare various analytical reports to help monitor studio OPEX

Support of Studio Cost CentersAssist the assigned studio cost center personnel with any financial inquires Compile underlying historical data for various Plans and Budgets Prepare modeling/planning schedules and templates

Special Projects/Industry AnalysisPrepare schedules used for press releases and conference calls Keep abreast of industry trends, changes and new developments which will aid in understanding the Company and industry Prepare various ad-hoc reports for Senior Management Work with accounting/finance on preparing the AOP section of the Selected Financial Data Package



Education: BA Accounting/BA Business Admin/BS Finance/ BS Economics MBA/CPA a plus

Special Knowledge or Skills:Excel, Word, Windows 2000 based programs Prior Oracle and Hyperion experience a plus. Knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statement components

Prior Experience: 2-4 years general finance & accounting 1-2 years prior budgeting experience

Other Qualifications and/or Requirements: Good written and oral communication ability. Ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks simultaneously. Sociable personality able to interact with finance managers well. Creative mind with initiative and self-motivation.
