Financial Analyst - Productivity

CITY: Schaumburg STATE: Illinois COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Financial Analyst Productivity position will provide financial leadership in support of Equipment Services's newly created Asset Intelligence business.

Responsibilities include:

-Perform functional budget to actual analysis

-Assist Functional leaders in budget preparation and financial reviews

-Perform reviews and reporting of IT development spending

-Develop and report on Field Service 3rd party services

-Assist in developing and driving cost out business initiatives

-Maintain metrics and report performance

-Provide analysis and support the business in developing financial plans

-Perform financial reporting for assigned areas

-Develop value added Analytical tools to support business objectives

-Perform ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.

-6+ years Financial analysis work experience.

-Solid PC skills: Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial systems/applications (i.e. Oracle, COGNOS, Business Objects) and intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint Skills.

-Ability to travel up to 20%.

-Willingness to work in Schaumburg, IL.

-Willingness to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification and background check.

-You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.


Desired:
MBA preferred

Green belt certification (GE Employees only)

Knowledge of GE and GEC businesses (GE Employees only)

Equipment Services experience (GE Employees only)

Strong analytical / organizational skills; ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.

Effective communication skills; Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver effectively verbally and in writing.

Demonstrated success in building strong work relationships.

Ability to work in a multi-tasked - fast paced start-up environment.

FMP/Audit Staff experience preferred.

Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX

Experience working in a matrixed environment.
