Financial Analyst - Rancho Cordova, CA

The position is located in Rancho Cordova, CA

 

The purpose of the department is to perform activities related to the development, maintenance and analysis of operational and statistical data utilized by our management team.

 

The scope of this job is providing, interpreting, and communicating data and participation in the formation of financial plans, forecasts and consultation.

 

The individual will be responsible for

 

1. Statistical analysis to identify regional trends; develop analysis with agents, production, premium, losses, expenses, and employees by quantifying factors using variance analysis and logical quantification.

2. Researching factors that drive variances and identifying emerging trends while making viable recommendations based on concrete analysis and research.

3. Preparing and delivering written and oral presentations impacting business results.

4. Identifying areas of opportunity within planning and forecasting duties and provide  suggestions for reasonable alternatives.

 

The skills required are:

3. Advanced - Oral and written communication skills

4. Advanced - Organizational and time management skills

 

Experience Required:

2+ years business experience

 

Computer Proficiency:

Microsoft Office products including Excel, Access, PowerPoint

 

Education:

College Degree - Preferred

Major preference: Business, Finance, Accounting
