Financial Analyst - Risk (Textron)

Job Summary:

A Senior Financial Analyst provides support and assistance in the management of all insurance programs -- responsibilities include accounting and financial analysis. They also provide financial reporting support to Risk Finance.

 

Responsibilities to Include:

?Develop a thorough understanding of insurance programs, their design, cost and application, and assist with program renewal meetings.

?Understand policies, procedures and processes for various Risk Finance programs and administration, and recommend appropriate improvements.

?Responsible for the Risk Finance component of Centrally Allocated Costs, Multi-year Plan, Forecast Reporting and annual Division Allocations.

?Responsible for monthly Cash Flow Reporting, including invoice payment processing, and account reconciliation.

?Responsible for the annual aviation renewal submission.

?Monitor surplus reserves analysis and Government allocation analysis.

?Maintain and administer Textron?s aviation loss database working directly with outside vendors.

?Maintain customs bonds and powers of attorney used by the operations.

?Gather information for insurance renewals including annual surveys of operations? activities related to aviation, property, and automobiles.

?Assist with the annual external audit process.

 

Education:

?BS Degree or equivalent.

 

Position Requirements:

?MBA Preferred.

?2 to 4 years of experience in Risk Finance or an Accounting/Finance related area in a large corporation or insurance company.

?Good business communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

?Strong accounting and analytical skills

?Thorough understanding of Excel spreadsheets.

?Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

?Project management experience.
