Financial Analyst/Sr. Financial Analyst (SV-3609)

Business partner with IT functional management responsible for financial planning and controls.  Interacts with management and other personnel to provide guidance related to financial impacts of business decisions.  Coordinates the forecast, variance analysis, annual budget for IT.  Perform financial analysis for new capital purchases.  Provide monthly spending variance reporting to corporate finance and to functional management. Performs cost modeling, benchmarking best in class practices for business groups and prepares metrics.Completes monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as needed.  Will provide real-time feedback to management regarding key spending areas.  Review current process and drive change as appropriate.  Will do special projects as required.

Experience:
5 years experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in an analyst role.  Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills are required.  Must have strong interpersonal skills, as this individual will be dealing with all levels of management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  Must also be proficient in Oracle, Essbase, MS Office and MS Access

Education:
BS/BA in Accounting/Finance or related field.  MBA preferred.
