Financial Analyst Sr. Staff

Essential Functions and Duties
The Financial Analyst reports to the finance manager of NA Sales and Field Operations (located in Fremont, CA). The Analyst is responsible for all accounting, internal business controls, finance and systems functions including financial analysis of business trends, forecasting, and asset management related to either Global or Regional Accounts. This position will have direct involvement in the following activities:

? Providing business support and partnering to Account gross margin, CSOM (Customer Service Operation Manager) and other account management team members.
? Coordinating all aspects of the financial planning and forecasting during each planning cycle. This includes the following:
1. System revenue, bookings, and Gross Margin analysis
2. CSBG (Customer Support Business Group) Spares, Service, Upgrades and Refurb revenue, bookings and GM analysis.
3. Manpower and headcount planning and analysis
4. Operating expense planning, forecasting and analysis; Direct Field Service and Sales Opex.
5. Account preparation for planning cycle presentations

? Business Review Account preparation; Account P&L's, Contract Profitability, Opex spending and variance analysis
? Provide weekly financial flash reporting on all aspects of the Account; perform variance analysis and insight to any business trends and their reasons and driving factors
? Participate in Account staff and operational meetings and reviews
? Safeguarding and management of Account assets and oversight of all internal controls processes
? Provide Account Receivable reporting and analysis
? Financial review of CSBG Clean Bookings Checklists
? Driving SOX compliance for all issues either Account or Regional specific

Qualifications
Primary tools will be SAP R/3 FI and CO-PA combined with Business Warehouse and Sales Force Automation Tool (SFA, SEM). SAP, SEM, and Business Warehouse experience strongly preferred. Must be a MS Excel power user. Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting required and MBA preferred. Minimum 7 years applicable work experience. Individual must demonstrate high energy and work ethics with a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines. Individual must be a team player, have strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex business situations or issues to management
