Spirent Communications Performance Analysis Broadband division is a $250M technology business with industry leading market share looking for an organized, resourceful, proactive and energetic Financial Analyst who is a self-starter with the ability to work with all levels of management in a very fast paced multi-tasking worldwide environment with tremendous opportunity for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

? Provide financial tools and support to sales mgt to help drive efficient/effective use of sales resources and keep management well-informed on financial matters
? Team with Sales Operations leader to coordinate the bookings forecasting process across all of the companies business units to create and maintain a common reporting mechanism throughout the Company
? Provide data and analysis to sales management in support of creation of accurate expense budgets broken down to each Sales Business Unit (SBU). Also create the ability to analyze margin content by SBU as well as by individual sales person.
? Analyze actual progress against forecasts/budgets and provide meaningful, timely insight on variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement
? Assist management in developing appropriate metrics and reporting mechanisms to assess sales efficiency/effectiveness
? Develop financial models to assess potential financial impact of various sales initiatives, comp plan structures, etc.
? Drive projects to insure maximum linkage between Siebel and JDE and other back office systems
? Special projects as required
? Liaison between Finance and Accounting teams and WW Sales
? Collaborate with other Finance/Accounting staff on financial projects/issues affecting entire business

Skills/Experience Required:

? BS in accounting or finance
? 3-5 years experience in a multi-division technology business or public accounting with technology focus.
? Strong Excel skills including macros and pivot tables
? Significant experience working with CRM systems (Siebel a plus)
? A creative thinker with sound business judgment
? Strong oral and written communications skills
? Interpersonal skills that enable development of good working relationships with all levels of the company
? Demonstrated ability to multi task in a very fast-paced business environment
? Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects
? Pro-active, can-do attitude
