Financial Planner/Tax Manager

The Ayco Company, L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company, is one of the nation?s leading financial counseling firms. We are looking for a bright, energetic, client-oriented person with a strong work ethic.  Following a formal training program, the Financial Planner/Tax Manager will work in our Troy, MI office.

 

Responsibilities:

 

v Work one-on-one with individual clients providing fee-based personal financial planning, investment planning and tax services to corporate executives and other high net worth individuals;

v Prepare tax projections, asset allocation, retirement, education funding, insurance and estate-planning analyses;

v Oversee regional 1040 tax practice, including training of staff and preparation of complex tax returns.

 

Qualifications:

 

v Minimum 3-4 years related experience;

v Four year degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher in Finance, Accounting or Economics;

v Masters in Taxation, CPA, MBA or CFP designation preferred;

v NASD Series 7 and Series 63 preferred;

v Strong working knowledge of Excel;

v Excellent communication skills.
