Financial Planning Specialist II - Financial Planning

Do you hold your Series 7 and 63 licenses? Do you have a bachelor's degree in business or finance and at least three years of experience in the financial industry? Responsibilities include marketing a specific assessment and planning product and related marketing and sales ideas to Investment Representatives, developing and implementing joint marketing plans with preferred product vendors, and ensuring Investment Representatives have the proper marketing tools and resources to effectively prospect business. Responsibilities:
The person in this position will work primarily at the direction of the Department Leader and/or Senior Specialist, responsibilities include:
-All that is required of a Financial Specialist I.
-Provide IRs with financial assessment and planning technical and sales support.
-Assist IRs with developing Personal Financial Organizers (PFO).
-Assist IRs with the use of Portfolio as a client assessment and sales tool.
-Provide support to IRs by responding to FAPD (Financial Assessment Planning Department) phone calls and wires and redirecting when appropriate.
-Develop and/or maintain technical, sales and promotional materials.
-Market Financial Assessment Planning Department (FAPD) products and services.
-Serve as the relationship manager for one or more product partners and give direction on their marketing campaigns and how to integrate them into our overall marketing strategies.
-Develop and deliver (FAPD) sales and associate training.
-Integration of FAPD tools into the sales process with experienced IRs.
-Subject matter expert in Financial Planning and one other product line.

Requirements:
-A bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred, MBA a plus.
-CFP, ChFC or AAMS designation is required.
-One to two years of presentation and public-speaking experience.
-Three years minimum of experience in the financial industry.
-Demonstrated knowledge of financial products.
-Series 7 and 63 licenses are required; series 65 license must be obtained after hire.
