Financial Senior Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
Consolidate, analyze and report CIGNA International's Monthly Operating Report globally. Assist in the development, execution and review of the annual business strategy and plan to Corporate. Interface with CI home office and key field office leaders in MOR and plan preparation and review. Support special projects designed for continuous improvement and efficiency in data collection, reporting and consolidation. Provide analytical support to other accounting and finance areas as needed.

Critical Tasks/Expected Contributions/Results:
Prepare CIGNA International's Monthly Operating Report (MOR) for corporate submission.
On a monthly basis, produce income statement and trend analysis by country; review country MORs; create financial model for SLT reporting & analysis; and prepare analysis package for CI home office management team.
On a quarterly basis, prepare divisional disclosures, investor relations financial package, PEER & CI talking points for Corporate Accounting review.
Assist in the development and execution of the annual CI plan to corporate ? including strategy and business plan through consolidation, financial modeling, allocations, ad hoc analysis and narratives for submittal.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in data collection, reporting and consolidation to drive consistency and increased efficiency across countries. Special projects may include (but are not limited to) MOR automation, enhancing financial models and improving internal control processes.
Support divisional Financial Management Reviews (FMRs) and other accounting/finance initiatives as appropriate.

Qualifications:
Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
2-4 years experience in financial planning, reporting or budgeting preferred.
Prior work experience in a Fortune 500 or multinational company preferred.
Strong proficiency in MS applications including Excel & Word required.
Demonstrated track record of strong written and verbal communication skills.

Personal Competencies:
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills with ability to review and challenge information.
Self-starter and the ability to work independently.

Education & Other Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related major.
CPA preferred..
