Fixed Income - Quantitative Analyst

UBS is looking for someone in a desk development role to work closely with the traders on mortgage derivatives (options, CMM, Balance Guaranteed swaps, etc..). Person will aid in model development (pricing and hedging analytics) and implementation for trade types listed above plus additional new trade/business idea. Person will work with the main Mortgage and rates derivatives Quant groups.Person will have direct responsibility to the trading desk.

Basic Qualifications

* Extensive knowledge of excel and VBA (or c++).

* Must have some working knowledge of the mortgage market and mortgage analytics and also have experience in rates (swap) modeling and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

* Candidate who is very strong quantitatively and have very strong computer skills.

* Affords flexibility to work out of Stamford, CT office on occasion if preferable.
