This is a highly visible role that helps lead Lexmark?s Cost Management Strategy and Process on a global scale.  In this position, you will be responsible for developing the strategy, coordinating the process and conducting the analysis for product cost throughout various stages of the product life cycle.  You will work cross-functionally with development, marketing and business planning to reach the optimal product cost.  In addition, you will provide guidance to the expected cost savings to executive management and varies other parties.  Ad hoc cost analysis/planning will also be required.

 

Detailed Activities

?  Create and document annual cost reduction strategy globally

?  Drive cost reduction strategy via working on cross functional product teams

?  Create and document cost reduction funnel process

?  Manage funnel process and information flow from participating business owners

?  Update annual cost challenge metrics and report monthly cost challenge achievements/risks

?  Provide product cost estimates for detailed business case

?  Provide detailed product cost schedule (5 years) for all products under development

?  Provide product cost estimates for strategic plan reported to board directors

?  Provide product cost estimates for annual business plan

?  Provide ad hoc analysis as requested

 

Desired Qualifications

?  Experience in planning/analysis or financial consulting

?  Bachelor?s degree required, MBA in Finance/Accounting is a plus

?  Excellent Excel, Power Point and Access Skills

?  Excellent Communication Skills

?  Prior Consulting Experience
