Finance Project Manager - Mountain View


This position is available in Mountain View, CA.

Google is looking for a seasoned finance professional to help in the ongoing
development of our rapidly growing financial systems, processes, and
organization. Your resume should showcase your academic excellence with
increasing levels of responsibility. Our ideal candidate has 3 to 6 years of
experience in financial systems development, some of which in the e-commerce
industry.

Responsibilities:
Manage the development, testing and deployment of large financial systems projects and features, with worldwide impact.
Manage the enhancement of end-to-end financial processes, on a global basis.
Work with product management and engineering in setting financial systems project priorities, and help in resolving resource issues.
Translate the multitude of requirements for financial systems into integrated functional and logical specifications and solutions.
Work in cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, operations, finance and accounting) to create integrated system requirements and provide team leadership.
Perform process re-engineering by challenging the status quo of current financial systems processes and implement needed changes.

Requirements:

Bachelors, or equivalent (Accounting background preferred but not necessary). MBA or CPA a plus.
3-6 years of financial systems development background (some of which in the e-commerce industry) is required.
Exposure to and knowledge of international finance topics including: VAT, Foreign Exchange Accounting, Currency/Treasury Management, and Intercompany Accounting.
Hands-on project management experience and proven leadership execution on large programs.
Leadership skills (ability to take charge; set objectives; drive to results; team player and friendly personality).
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with tolerance for ambiguity.
