The Payment Specialist, as a key member of the Finance team, is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound payment processes and exception handling for all daily transactional activity. The position works closely with other areas of the company, including Accounting, Treasury, Customer Service, Collections and Sales. This position encompasses a wide-range of payment support tasks, giving the right candidate a number of opportunities for growth and development within Google. The successful candidate is expected to grow as an expert in the payment operations field and contribute to the success of a constantly changing department.

Responsibilities: Manage daily disbursement activities for a high volume of customers.
Investigate customer payment issue and liaise with appropriate teams, including external parties, to resolve questions in a timely manner.
Research, resolve and process refunds and adjustments to customer accounts.
Assist in transaction monitoring and reporting.
Manage customer collection processes as necessary.
Provide analytical support to finance and business teams.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Identify process improvements.
Some administrative support required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree required.
2-4 years of customer service, analytical, and/or accounting experience.
General accounting knowledge preferred.
Confidence to work independently, but responsive to team environment.
Ability to multi-task and alter schedule to meet deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional problem solving skills.
Experience with spreadsheet or database applications.
Have worked in a fast paced, high-tech, large, multi-national corporate environment.
