INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE ANALYST - Investment Office

In conjunction with the Trustee Investment Committee, the Investment Office manages the University?s long term investment assets. The Office is responsible for all investment and operational aspects of this function, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager due diligence, hiring, monitoring, termination and performance measurement. The Investment Office seeks a creative and resourceful problem solver with knowledge of investment vehicles, markets, computer systems including custodial system, Bloomberg, and other proprietary systems used in investment office to fill its available Investment Performance Analyst position.

 

The focus of the Investment Performance Analyst position is to:

 Ensure efficient, timely and accurate operational flows of the long-term investment portfolio through activities including developing/managing reports necessary to analyze investment performance; Identify and troubleshoot month-end valuation problems; Initiate investment related research as is required.

 

The Investment Performance Analyst will also assist in the communication of manager cash flows to the custodian bank, and will be responsible for the creation and management of performance attribution, analytics and cash flow reports that provide a basis for asset allocation decision making. She/he will also provide administrative support to the Chief Investment Officer with regards to Trustees? materials, administrative support to the Director, Investment Risk and Administration with regards to audit materials and be a research resource to staff.

 

Required qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor?s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitatively oriented field and a minimum of three to five years experience in a similar field. The selected candidate must possess outstanding computer, analytical and organizational skills. The ability to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines is key.

 

Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated interest in investments is preferred. Pursuit of an MBA or CFA would be helpful.
