M&I Portfolio Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to assist in the development and documentation of financial institution interest rate risk modeling (asset/liability modeling) including deposit balance and rate behavior, loan and deposit prepayments, and loan and deposit volume growth expectations. The position assists in identifying and evaluating balance sheet and hedging strategies, and works continuously towards proper modeling of investment, funding, liquidity, derivatives and hedging activities. Candidates will be expected to develop increased competence in interest rate risk measurement technologies and stay abreast of developments in economics, statistics and securities.

Candidates must possess:B.A. or B.S. in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or AccountingFinancial Analyst or Statistical Analyst experienceProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatModeling/forecasting experienceExcellent communications skills
