Internal Controls Manager - SOX

Continuously review and modify internal control practices, SOX and business processes to ensure operational integrity and immutable control procedures/practices across the entire company, i.e., all operational, staff and financial functions. Ensure that procedures and controls are effective and efficient to operate the business and to guarantee the financial integrity of the business based on optimally performing operating systems. Lead compliance initiatives by implementing controls, policies and guidelines; develop test standards; establish remediation guidelines; and assure performance by recording and monitoring metrics toward improvement.

Requirements: A minimum of five years of experience in a business analysis role. Bachelor?s degree in finance, accounting or business administration required; MBA and/or CPA a plus. Hands-on experience in functional and operational re-engineering with specific expertise in systems process improvements and implementation. Demonstrated ability to maintain (or modify) operational/financial processes to meet company guidelines, procedures and policies. Advanced knowledge in multiple organizational, systems and process levels. Fluency in federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws relative to compliance. Strong presentation skills for training, executive presentation and influential conversations. Detailed report writing capabilities to document remediation, activities, improvements and goals. Domestic travel required.
