The?Los Angeles?office of Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance LLC (DTCF) part of our Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice is looking for an investment banking Analyst.? DTCF is an NASD-licensed broker-dealer (wholly-owned by Deloitte & Touche) and is
focused on mergers & acquisitions, sales & divestures, and raising private equity and debt capital for middle market companies and divisions/subsidiaries of large public companies.? We offer sophisticated investment banking advice to companies participating in mid-market transactions in the $25-600 million range.? The selected candidate will have the opportunity to join a successful team of experienced Wall Street bankers to perform the following:

- Analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective?
- Build complex financial models utilizing Microsoft Excel?
- Research industries, specific companies, and market data
- Interview top management and owners of client businesses
- Write offering memorandums, reports, letters to clients, and engagement letters
- Create client proposals to obtain new engagements
?
Requirements
- High performing undergraduate business student with a concentration in finance or
accounting with 1 - 3 years of experience
- Previous Investment Banking or Big 4 experience preferred
- Industry experience in Healthcare or Financial Services a plus but would consider an audit background
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-starter, with solid team skills and desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic practice
- Superior attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
