Investment Banking Associate

Large conglomerate seeks Investment Banking Associate to join acquisition and corporate development group.  Responsible for performing complex financial analyses and supporting the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Treasury and Investor Relations. This high exposure position includes continuous interaction with the CFO and other senior management in all areas of the company.

 

 

Essential Functions:

?  Analyzing potential investment/acquisition opportunities.

?  Assist with due diligence process on potential acquisitions.

?  Extensive valuation and financing modeling.

?  Financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, preparation of comparables analysis, etc.

?  M&A and Capital Markets analysis and structure.

?  Evaluates business opportunities utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches.

?  Build complex financial models to evaluate M&A opportunities.

?  Researches and analyzes market data to identify trends and opportunities.

?  Prepares customized financial and business related analyses based on the needs of company.

?  Support senior leadership and corporate finance team in their equity and fixed income initiatives from an IR perspective.

?  Assists with Investor Relations presentations, earnings calls, press releases and analyses.

?  Creates professional presentations and updates for Senior Management, the Board of Directors and Trustees.

 

 

Qualifications:

?  Investment banking experience

?  Experience in corporate finance and/or business development. 

?  Knowledge of M&A transaction experience with regard to due diligence, modeling and financing

 

Education and certifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting and/or finance

MBA preferred
