Financial Services leader
This Investment Analyst will participate in data compilation and provide proactive / creative contributions to communication material creation, presentation design and production work related to ICMA-RC's investment program.
Essential Functions:
* Participate in the design and creation of investment-related communications material. Assignments may include:
* Materials design and development, formatting decisions, and physical production for periodic internal Board and external Regulatory reports, newsletters, and other publications (both electronic and hardcopy publications)
* Periodic review and validation of investment related information on ICMA-RC's website. Determining appropriate presentation and positioning of information to ensure clarity and consistency with ICMA-RC investment product positioning.
* Production of client portfolio review materials, and assisting with travel related requirements.
* Prepare monthly/quarterly/ annual reports for various boards and committees.
* Provide investment related contact with the marketing field force, such as discussing content and formatting requirements for sales / communication tools.
* Respond to monthly and quarterly surveys and ad hoc requests from mutual fund data vendors with information on the Vantagepoint funds
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Three to five years overall experience with the majority in data collection and spreadsheet experience in an investment related environment.
* Highly proficient with MS Excel, Powerpoint, and spreadsheet analysis.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Preferred....strong analytical skills with the capacity to learn Morningstar, Ibbotson, Zephyr, and Bloomberg tools.
* BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
