Leasing Manager

The Leasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day lease management of the IT and office equipment portfolio, as well as execution on key projects. Responsibilities will include managing lessor and vendor relationships, working with Company business units to develop and implement equipment leasing solutions, directing the leasing staff, performing due diligence on mergers and acquisitions, negotiating master lease agreements, and addressing/resolving issues as required.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and manage various daily operations of leasing staff to ensure quality service to internal business units, and to ensure competitive pricing and service from Lessors.

Assist leasing staff with master lease negotiations, lease schedule negotiations, and end of lease negotiations. Ensure ACS receives favorable terms and conditions, and competitive pricing by reviewing all Master Lease Agreements, new lease proposals, and all end of lease quotes.

Manage relationships with lessors and vendors by meeting with representatives, monitoring service quality, and addressing problems and issues as necessary.

Minimize month-to-month leases by working with the Lease Analyst and ACS business units to ensure timely decisions are made and executed. Ensure the Lease Analyst tracks all leases that expire within 120 days. Meet with operations and management regularly to resolve any "month-to-month" issues.

Manage assumptions of Customer/Acquired lease schedules. Ensure assuptions are contractually obligated. Negotiate acceptable assumptions terms and conditions.

Ensure lease invoices are processed and paid within terms by reviewing and approving invoices prepared by the Lease Contracts Administrator.

This position will manage a staff of 3.

Completes special projects as assigned.

 

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in equipment leasing or related fields such at IT Procurement, or Software/contract negotiations.
2+ years of managing a staff.
Contract/Pricing negotiation experience preferred

 

Specific Requirements:

 

Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing. Exhibit strong organizational, team building, and leadership skills. Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with building relationships and managing vendors/lessors. Candidate must posses proven project management skills, excellent problem solving skills, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills, high level comfort with standard business software and basic computer skills, and strong customer service orientation.
