Golfsmith has an opportunity for a MARKET RESEARCH / REAL ESTATE ANALYST at our Support Center in Austin, Texas.

 

Support all financial aspects of real estate process, specifically:Collect, interpret and present demographic data to project financial performance of potential real estateCreate financial statements and perform scenario analysis on potential real estate using current modelsAssume ownership of current processes while recommending and implementing improvementsPrioritize and score all potential real estate in efforts to identify best combination of projects to satisfy short, mid and  long-range goalsReview actual results of sites post lease and compare to original modelsIdentify financial trends and behaviors of new storesPerform ad-hoc financial analysis

 

 Desired skill set:BS or BA in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics 3 - 5 years of analyzing demographic data and projecting retail performance with minimal margin of error 2 + years of interpreting or creating P&Ls Has highly analytical and robust problem solving abilities Solid pc skills especially software such as Excel, GIS applications, and database applications Experience in enhancing current financial models or creating from scratch Is extremely organized and can easily manage multiple projects Ability to synthesize complex data from a variety of sources into a cohesive, understandable format and to present findings to executive team Self-motivator who can work independently and in a team environment
