MS Access Database Technician

Nortel is looking for a driven individual who is a self starter to help create and maintain various Access Databases. These databases will be used to track inventory, automate inventory related account reconciliations, track process issues, and provide supplemental reporting capabilities to core SAP reports until full accounting automation is institutionalized . The prime will be responsible to maintain the Access Databases to consolidate various SAP, Oracle General Ledger data, and excel data to provide the appropriate level of inventory analysis and reporting. The incumbent will work with the various team members to assist in efficiency automation as much as possible. The incumbent will also have the responsibility to create, maintain and update all systems and user documentation for all models created or update documentation for existing database tools in addition to creating SOX toolkits as required for any end user computing applications outside of the main ERP system. The prime will be providing databases and/or reports to other users of the extended team who will use them for analysis.
