Manager, Economist- Minneapolis, MN or Phoenix, AZ

Minneapolis-based diversified consumer financial services firm seeks Managers/Economist to be part of Team responsible for developing, enhancing and implementing information based decision support strategies/marketing analytics for various lines of business (Home/Auto Insurance, Annuities, etc. The core responsibility is to create /drive value through information by building behavioral regression models, setting up tracking systems to understand key metrics/trends for risk and performance, and derive profitability metrics through optimization. (Positions could be based in Minneapolis or Phoenix, AZ).

 

Specific tasks include: Developing predictive behavioral regression models/segmentation tools to identify, target and acquire new policy holdersLeading test design, and evaluation of new campaigns across different products/channels.Monitoring marketing list generation processesTracking/ evaluating campaign performance (campaign history, response, and conversion/sales) and providing analytical support to business partners Setting up profitability driven simulation methodology by incorporating pricing, constraints, scenarios, and new targeting strategies across products and channels.

Qualifications:Strong quantitative and econometric skills required with 2+ years experienceGraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, or closely related field with emphasis in econometrics, applied microeconomics and experience with experimental design and sampling techniques. Statistical programming software experience is required.Demonstrated ability to apply both strategic and analytic techniques to provide business solutions and recommendations. Strong project management, relationship management, and communication skills are required; especially a proven ability to prioritize multiple requirements and define a detailed process to complete required tasks 

Salary: $70-85k
