Manager (ML-1274)

Job Description: This person will be responsible for managing the Milpitas & Fremont finance groups. Working as a business partner to the Operations & R&D executive management to develop business plans, budgets, costing strategies and ad-hoc analysis. Additionally, this person will oversee a group of approximately seven professionals who support the site through all accounting, SOX, fixed assets, and financial analysis activities.

 

This person will review objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.  Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays) in schedules and/or unit operations, and may jeopardize overall business activities. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

 

Experience Requirements:

The candidate must have prior experience with managing a balance sheet and income statement at a divisional level. The person must also have prior financial management experience. A history in supporting a media operational and /or R&D unit is preferred. 5-10 years of related experience.

 

Educational Requirements:

Candidate must have a BS in Finance or Accounting; MBA is preferred.
