Manager, Strategic Planning and Operations

Media Company located in midtown, NYC seeks a Manager of Strategic Planning and Operations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

1.  Oversee reporting of business unit operating metrics to the interactive and executive team

- identify and define critical operating and financial metrics and establish targets across business

- identify and define audience and site performance metrics and establish goals to optimize site based upon consumer behavior

- work with vp of advertising and team to identify and define advertising metrics and goals to optimize advertising inventory

- work with other functional heads to establish critical success metrics and goals in areas such as new product or editorial initiatives or marketing programs

 

2.  Drive strategic planning for team including annual budgeting and 5 year planning

 

3.  Oversee management of competitive intelligence tracking, including industry and competitive site metrics and trends.  .

 

4.  Assist in developing board of director and executive team materials

 

5. Drive strategic and financial evaluation of 3rd party partnerships and acquisitions, in collaborations with key individuals across team.

 

Candidates must have an accounting/finance degree, CPA is a +.. Media experience preferred.
